Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will:
1. Independently oversee and assess project initiatives.
2. Collaborate with various departments within the organization to fulfill mission objectives.
3. Communicate essential updates to stakeholders, working closely with team members and providing briefings to senior management as required.
4. Manage project scope, budget, and timelines effectively.
5. Prepare and maintain project documentation and status reports for presentations.
6. Organize cross-functional meetings to facilitate project discussions.
7. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.
8. Monitor and update production and quality metrics for assigned projects.
9. Work collaboratively with clients and partners to resolve issues and challenges.


Event Coordination:
10. Partner with military and defense clients to conceptualize and execute events that meet their strategic goals, ensuring compliance with military protocols.
11. Identify and evaluate venues for military functions, taking into account security, capacity, and accessibility, while coordinating necessary approvals.
12. Oversee logistical arrangements for events, including transportation, equipment, and security measures, to guarantee seamless execution.
13. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of military customs and protocols, including flag etiquette and seating arrangements.
14. Liaise with vendors and contractors to secure essential services, ensuring they align with military standards.
15. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to constraints.
16. Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring adherence to timelines and military standards.
17. Identify potential risks associated with military events and devise contingency plans.
18. Ensure the comfort and satisfaction of attendees, including VIPs and senior military officials, by providing exceptional service.
19. Conduct evaluations post-event to assess success, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.


Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field; a degree in event management or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of military customs and traditions.
- 5-10 years of experience in technical project management or military event planning.
- Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication, briefing, and writing skills; ability to convey information professionally in various formats.
- Capability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with USINDOPACOM.
- Background in intra-agency or joint command operations.
