Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success

  • Answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and receive faxes and e-business orders to quote price and availability and 3rd party products.
  • Be a liaison between customer, factory, and local salespeople.
  • Participate in and promote services such as free delivery and Custom Solutions, our assembly service.
  • Acquire a working knowledge of product to answer customer inquiries effectively and directly.
  • Coordinate inventory availability between factory and 3 local WNY offices.
  • Abide by a 4-hour window: our commitment to respond to customers within 4 hours with an answer or an update.
  • Have a working knowledge of functions such as the eDTR (electronic desktop catalog), DEXI Global Purchasing Network, Product Evaluation System, Part Configurator, Service Requests through Flowan.
  • Restock products based on pre-set quantities and agreed-upon replenishment schedule.
  • Coordinate delivery schedule and assist customers with special requests.
  • Utilize appropriate inventory maintenance tools, including Inventory Management Software (IMS)
  • Maintain brand image by organizing bins and storage area for product.
  • Strictly adhere to all on-site safety requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively between customers, salespeople, and inside staff.
  • Provide continuous support for customer needs by building working customer relationships.
  • Schedule and perform regular VMI or consigned inventory audits.
  • Schedule and maintain a delivery program with planned visits weekly or bi-weekly for select customer groups.
  • Promote free tubing delivery to customers and manage delivery schedule appropriately to accommodate for changes in customer demand.
  • Ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained in an appropriate manner.
Receiving:
  • Accepts all incoming shipments from various carriers, including freight, using a process involving physical check in and electronic documentation, and accuracy assurance measures.
  • Acts quickly with any discrepancies and ensures quality and accuracy of product upon arrival into WNY facility.
  • Maintains paperwork and documentation for receiving inspections.
Shipping:
  • As orders are processing daily, our Warehouse Associate is picking, packing, and shipping, while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of products leaving the facility
  • Contacts freight carriers or customers for special pick-up requirements
  • Maintains paperwork and documentation for shipment of orders.
  • Operates warehouse machines—weight/scale, strapping machine, hose counter, labeling machines, bar code and scanner.
Warehouse & Inventory Maintenance:
  • Performs regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure integrity and accuracy of products.
  • Reconciles inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintains dust free, clean warehouse environment to keep our high-quality products free of dust and debris.
  • Ensures proper storage of all products and equipment.
  • Supports overall cleanliness and maintenance of facility to clean standards.
