We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Customer Service Claims Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for resolving customer claims in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Claims Validation and Management: Validate, manage, and maintain tax-exempt certificates according to state and job requirements.
- Claims Resolution: Submit credits/debits for incorrect tax applications, communicate with credit/collections departments, and process overages/shortages/freight/concessions.
- Warranty Credit Reconciliation: Track warranty credit from Service Bench to reconcile customer accounts while collaborating with accounting.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to resolve claims and provide excellent customer service.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2 years of work experience in customer service.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP: Experience with SAP software is preferred.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and ability to make sound business decisions.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve goals and objectives.
