Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Parts Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory of parts within the company. This role ensures inventory levels meet operational requirements, optimizes inventory control procedures, and collaborates with various departments to ensure optimal stocking levels.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Has prior experience in inventory management, preferably in the heavy equipment or related industry
  • Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Is detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Works and inventory management software
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work independently and collaboratively
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree (preferred) in a related field and a valid driver’s license
WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and minimize overstock or stockouts
  • Conduct physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Support inventory forecasting and planning based on historical data and future projections
  • Process and communicate returns with branches and the Corporate Product Support Manager
  • Provide management with monthly updates on aged inventories
  • Train inventory control staff and identify process improvements
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on new product launches and stocking policies
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory status and other key metrics
  • Maintain accurate records and generate actionable insights using inventory management software
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and excellent service
