Job Overview

Position Title: Warehouse Material Specialist II (2nd Shift)

Shift Timing: 2nd shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm) from Monday to Friday

Compensation: $32.45/hr on W2

Location: Westbrook, ME

Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Material Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Supplying materials to production areas while maintaining strict inventory controls.
  • Exhibiting a thorough understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Preparing and dispatching customer orders efficiently.
  • Receiving and distributing incoming packages accurately.
  • Overseeing inventory management across all storage locations.
  • Processing material requisitions and ensuring timely delivery to relevant departments.
  • Implementing and maintaining a cycle count program.
  • Keeping precise records for material disposal.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of warehouse and shipping zones.
  • Being available for call-backs or extended hours as needed.
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) along with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or material handling.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in material handling, freight logistics, and receiving within an FDA, ISO, or GMP environment.
Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Ability to operate a fork truck.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software, order processing systems, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control protocols.
