Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator for Marriage and Advocacy plays a vital role in supporting the marketing initiatives of the Marriage & Advocacy team. This position is responsible for managing projects, assisting with marketing strategies, ensuring timelines are met, facilitating communication across departments, and maintaining accurate records of approvals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive marketing strategies, including drafting strategic plans, monitoring adherence to schedules, and implementing tactical actions.
  • Engage with industry insights and consumer data to inform brand strategy and development.
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to provide updates on project milestones and promptly address inquiries.
  • Oversee content management for public-facing websites and microsites, ensuring all materials are current and accurately tracked.
  • Generate marketing performance reports utilizing data from Salesforce Marketing Cloud and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop automated multi-channel marketing strategies to support campaigns, subject to approval from the Marketing Manager.
  • Participate in product development and website optimization for search engine visibility.
  • Conduct competitive research and audience analysis to enhance outreach effectiveness and maximize impact.
  • Assist in organizing and preparing for inter-departmental meetings, documenting key decisions and action items.
  • Collaborate with Author Relations to provide marketing support as needed.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic roadmaps for product lines.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure all marketing files are organized and accessible.
  • Support internal communication efforts to build trust and address concerns promptly.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of major marketing initiatives.
  • Review promotional materials for accuracy and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Seek innovative methods to enhance internal communication regarding resources.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Director to track and communicate monthly marketing priorities.
  • Provide regular status updates on all initiatives to management.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Travel occasionally for conferences to represent the organization.
  • Assist in supervising interns and volunteers.
  • Share general administrative duties within the Marketing Strategy team.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Work Environment:

This role is situated in a dynamic office environment with frequently changing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications with demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in various software applications on Windows or Mac platforms.
  • Experience in public speaking and presentations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms.
