Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the BI strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall business objectives and priorities.
- Lead and manage the BI team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to identify data needs and requirements, translating them into actionable BI projects.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of BI reports and data visualizations, driving insights that support strategic decisions.
- Implement and maintain best practices for data management, data governance, and data quality to ensure BI solutions are effective and secure.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Develop and present high-level reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships related to BI initiatives effectively.
- Promote a data-driven culture within the organization, emphasizing the value of BI in supporting business objectives and driving performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years in a senior management or director-level role.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data visualization techniques.
- Extensive experience with data management, data warehousing, and data governance best practices.
- Proven track record of leading and managing BI teams and projects, delivering impactful business insights and solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business performance through data-driven solutions.
- Experience with managing budgets and resources effectively, including vendor relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
