Job Summary: The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leading the development and execution of business intelligence (BI) solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves analyzing complex data, developing reports and dashboards, and providing strategic insights to enhance business performance. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst plays a key role in driving the organization's BI strategy and ensuring that data insights align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide solutions that address their requirements.
  • Develop and implement BI solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and timely data availability.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI systems and applications, recommending improvements and optimizations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and best practices for data analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BI technology, integrating new tools and techniques as appropriate.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data visualization best practices.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud-based BI solutions is a plus.
