Summary:

As an Associate Manager on the Member Value team, you will play a crucial role in implementing member engagement and student pipeline strategies that align with our organizational goals. The position requires a thoughtful thinker who can build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. The job will focus on elevating our student and young professional pathways, while supporting overall enhancements to the member experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with internal partners, volunteers, and community partners to foster collaboration and engagement, aiming to strengthen member value, improve member experience and nurture the student and young professional pipeline

  • Member Support: Provide guidance and support to individual and student members. Additionally, support educational institutions and North American chapter leaders with student membership efforts.

  • Pipeline Initiatives: Execute deliverables on projects that nurture a membership and career pathway for students transitioning to young professionals. Support the Emerging Leaders young professional program as needed.

  • Member Engagement: Assist in the development and execution of member engagement programs that increase the value of membership. Contribute where needed in enhancing The IIA’s overall member experience and member satisfaction rating

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as Marketing, Academic Relations, and Chapter Engagement to support a cohesive approach to member value initiatives.

  • Communication: Learn and communicate the value propositions of membership to internal and external audiences, with an emphasis on students and young professionals.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of pipeline initiatives. Present data findings and potential recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, business, or a related area). – Preferred

  • Proactive – anticipate challenges, initiate solutions, and take preemptive actions to drive positive change.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
