Our operating unit provides telecom construction services, and we are looking for a Technical Ops Support to join our team.
The Technical Ops Support must have the willingness to be part of a team. Have the knowledge of existing design maps and be able to translate to new upgraded designs. They will need to know RF/AC direction, cable sizes, understand the various taps, DC, and splitters. There are many types of amplifiers in each system, knowing these is vital to being able to complete the work in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work in any environment and work long days.
  • Capable of leading multiple personalities and holding them accountable for the work that needs to be complete.
  • Ability to read and understand mapping and how the system works.
  • Understanding of equipment that is being used or what equipment would be needed to complete the job.
  • Maintain constant communication with your team members as to how the workflow is going.
  • Additional Duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways

  • This is an all-weather job being able to work in all conditions is crucial.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics.
  • Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices.

  • Ability to use hand tools, test tools and web-based tools.
  • Ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections.

  • Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry
