Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

At Danfoss, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible service and solutions to their technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via email, phone, and remote access tools
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with our compressors and chiller systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that our customers receive the best possible solutions
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of commercial HVAC experience in servicing, commissioning, and maintaining chiller sets in central plant air conditioning systems
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of vapor compression cycle and principles and the use of centrifugal compressors within chiller systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of Modbus control system and applications using Modbus control
  • Ability to read and work with simple electrical schematic wiring diagrams
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Preferred Qualifications:
  • HVAC Certification from an accredited Technical Trade School
  • Ability to speak effectively before a group of people
  • Poses or acquire a valid passport for international travel
