Position Summary:The Content Management Specialist is responsible for providing customized content management and fulfillment services to an array of clientele. This position is responsible for the preservation, product identification, and customer request fulfillment. These tasks include cataloging, customer service, importing/exporting data, conducting research request, metadata entry, tracking metrics and other duties as assigned. Essential Functions:To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.   1. Provides content management services by assessing, processing and organizing a client’s historical tangible assets.
  2. Digitizes tangible assets such as photographs, newspaper articles, brochures, etc. by photographing and/or scanning. Digitized assets are then uploading into the assigned software program.
  3. Creates and catalogs new asset records in client’s digital asset management system.
  4. Preserves and organizes cataloged assets into archival folders and boxes.
  5. Manages archived assets storage and filing system.
  6. Documents, tracks and reports staff activity and phone request metrics to management.
  7. May cross-train or be cross-trained for various client projects.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Physical demands:
  1. This position will require standard physical demands expected in an office environment; standing, sitting, typing, communication through verbal and written means and other miscellaneous administrative tasks.
  2. This position requires use of standard office equipment; computers, printers, telephones, fax machine, etc.
  3. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred education and experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent content management system experience.
