Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on customer service and exceptional organizational abilities to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

The primary responsibility of the Pre-Construction Specialist is to assist with various administrative and customer service functions within the Estimating Department, reporting directly to the Chief Estimator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of the proposal project plan and oversee the organization, collection, and assignment of proposal materials.
  • Track, file, and disseminate incoming proposal requests and project opportunities efficiently.
  • Compile and review final proposals for submission to clients through various digital platforms.
  • Oversee the pre-qualification process for all existing and prospective subcontractors, ensuring timely communication regarding required information and annual updates.
  • Assist in the subcontracting process by reviewing subcontract packages to confirm that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
Essential Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail in editing and proofreading.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, contributing positively to a collaborative team atmosphere.
Experience Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a coordination role or similar position, ideally within a construction, architectural, engineering, or marketing context.
