Family Service Association is looking for a caring Financial Supervisor for our Guardianship and Rep. Payee program We are offering a full time 35 hour work week, with a partial hybrid remote day time schedule.
The Guardianship / Rep Payee Financial Supervisor essential duties and responsibilities;
- Assist with the initial and on-going asset management for clients
- Provide guidance and supervision to 3-5 financial staff
- Responsible for oversight of financial documents for Probate Court including yearly court accountings and inventories
- Provide oversight for applications for MassHealth, Medicare, secondary insurance and long term-care when applicable
- Responsible for completing reports for agency including audits
- Triage and balance competing priorities
- Work independently as well as part of a Team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Working knowledge of tax matters including annuities
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of MassHealth eligibility
- Experience working in human services
