Department: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - MARTINS FERRY, OH

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

3. Serves as a backup for the Item Processing and Electronic Banking departments for all absences and is expected to remain fully trained and practiced on all aspects of functions for these departments.

4. Verifies, and archives ATM/debit card processing reports on a regular basis. Verifies ATM/debit card maintenance. Refers compromised card notifications to supervisor(s).

5. Verifies, and performs maintenance on the image and report storage and retrieval application, including automatic and manual imports, committing of imported items, clearing of temporary database tables, problem resolution for failures, and referral to supervisor(s) and product support where necessary. Assembles and forwards reports from the storage system to Management daily.

6. Enters daily loan index rate changes into the core processing system.

7. Performs the core processing system’s semi-annual savings bond file update; bi-monthly update of the ZIP+4 software and databases on the servers used for statement outsourcing.

8. Prints official checks both on a schedule and on an as-needed basis. Prints notices and statements handled in-house daily and delivers to appropriate departments for handling. Sorts nightly reports and delivers to appropriate departments for handling. Verifies all appropriate notices have printed and reproduces if necessary.

9. Processes ACH files from the Federal Reserve Banks, generating notices and reports which are delivered to other departments as directed. Retrieves originated ACH transactions from core for later transmission to FRB.

10. Transfers and processes transactions from image capture systems and imports to image storage system. Verifies automatic processing of Voice Banking and Internet Banking transactions and corrects as needed.

11. Performs backups of core system databases, software, and operating system as required by management. On month-end, quarter-end, and year-end basis, verifies the correctness of the appropriate reference copy database on the core processing server and backs up this reference copy database.

12. Manages backup media rotation, dating, and organization. Loads and removes media to/from appropriate systems as instructed by management.

13. Performs nightly Update Batch and Accrual of the core system to update customer accounts, and post-update balancing of the core processing system to ensure the update did not cause any errors or problems with the General Ledger or other modules.

14. Processes DDA and Loan statement files to produce both electronic statements and printable statement data and transmits this printable data to the statement outsourcing vendor. Repairs and produces crippled statements.

15. Assists in conducting annual in-house Disaster Recovery testing.

16. Assists in the annual Information Security Policy update process by collecting necessary vendor documents such as SAS-70 or SAS-70 Supplements, annual reports, etc.

17. Assists in performing preventive maintenance on IT assets as instructed

18. Assists in conducting the annual Area Risk Assessments for the Information Security Policy.

19. Checks servers, routers, switches, SAN arrays, etc. for hardware failures indicated by status lights and/or displays at minimum twice per shift (beginning and end) and reports abnormalities to supervisors.

20. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the Computer Room.

21. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Lending Regulations, Deposit Regulations, etc.

22. Produces special reports as requested by supervisors or management; statements as requested for subpoenas/court orders or other requests in which statements must be on official bank paper or where a significant number of statements must be reproduced.

23. Recycles toner cartridges as needed and orders toner cartridges for printing room printers as needed.

24. Rotates between early and late shifts on a regular basis.

25. Performs other duties as outlined on the Data Processing Checklist.

26. Provides the first level of customer support and interaction; including, but not limited to, any initial technical calls related to electronic banking, online and mobile banking customer support, secure message support, live chat support, and vendor support.

27. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment, which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

28. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

1. Associate Degree in a technology related field.

2. Experience in banking and data entry preferred.

3. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft products

4. Experience with various operating systems
