Job DescriptionAre you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for optimizing logistics and supply chain operations? We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and managing the flow of goods, ensuring efficient transportation, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.   • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory, shipment staging, packing, and material movement.
  • Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Repair machines as needed, with training provided.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods.
  • Package and process shipments, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper placement of shipments.
  • Perform repetitive tasks on a continuous basis, maintaining productivity and accuracy.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience operating warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Proven experience with receiving products using packing slips and correctly storing shipments.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Basic math skills required for inventory and shipment management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
