- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify and assess compliance risks, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on compliance-related topics, including regulatory updates and best practices.
- Investigate compliance incidents and breaches, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on compliance activities, audit findings, and risk assessments.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies, coordinating responses to inquiries and audits.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and training.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the organization's compliance framework and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)) are a plus.
- Previous experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, audit, or a related role within the financial services industry or a regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess compliance risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey compliance information to all levels of the organization.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in auditing, reporting, and policy development.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in compliance management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and a dynamic work environment, and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
