JOB TITLE: Front Office Receptionist

EMPLOYER: Robert Boissoneault Oncology Institute

DEPARTMENT: Radiation Oncology Division

REPORTS TO: Lenore Gallico/Tonya Painter

SUMMARY: Provides clerical support for Ocala Facility

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
  • Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; prepares all outgoing mail and packages.
  • Types and distributes internal and external correspondence as assigned.
  • Sorts and files correspondence and other records.
  • Performs data entry duties as assigned.
  • Answers and routes telephone calls; conveys messages.
  • As back-up receptionist, performs receptionist duties including but not limited to answering, screening, and directing calls on multi-line phone system; taking messages and/or forwarding telephone calls to appropriate employee, voice mail, or pager; meeting and greeting visitors.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of two years office experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
    • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
      • Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures.
