Essential Functions:

  • Purchase items for resort departments.
  • Track open orders and verify deliveries.
  • Process invoices daily by coding them to proper G/L’s.
  • Excellent communication skills both with vendors and internal employees.
  • Oversee scheduled maintenance projects.
  • Verify vendors conform to start & completion dates for jobs.
  • Update resort spreadsheets for product placement.
  • Schedule repair of SCR equipment when needed.
  • Ensure all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills Required:

  • Negotiation skills, best quality-least cost
  • Understand the procedure to obtain bids prior to purchasing items.
  • Must have procurement experience.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Self-starter, communicator, team player.
  • Organized, problem solving, detailed oriented, strong scheduling skills.
  • Basic computer skills – Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Display courtesy and professionalism in all contacts.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and/or push up to 20lbs, stand/sit for extended periods of time, walk, traverse, crouch/stoop, kneel, reach, bend, repetitive hand/wrist motion, see, recognize, distinguish, convey information and converse with staff & guests with

consistency.
