The Exterior Renovation Consultant is a key member of our team, responsible for providing expert guidance and solutions to homeowners seeking exterior renovation services. This role involves face-to-face interactions with clients, conducting in-home consultations, and showroom appointments, and presenting tailored solutions that align with clients' needs and preferences. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and has a strong ability to build relationships and trust with clients. This is a W2 position.

Compensation:

$175,000 at plan commission

Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Conduct in-home consultations to understand clients' needs, assess existing exterior conditions, and provide expert advice on siding, window, and door replacement options.
  • Product Presentation: Utilizing various technologies, present Freedom Exteriors' product offerings and explain the benefits and features of our permanent siding, windows, and door replacement options, ensuring clients understand the value and quality of our solutions. Products include fiber-cement siding, steel siding, vinyl siding, vinyl windows, fiberglass windows, clad-wood windows, fiberglass patio doors, fiberglass entry doors, and steel entry doors.
  • Customized Proposals: Utilizing various technologies, develop and present customized project proposals, including product recommendations, pricing, and project timelines.
  • Sales Process Management: Guide clients through the sales process, from initial consultation to contract signing, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and production team to educate prospects on the home improvement process.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and competitive offerings to provide clients with the most up-to-date information and advice.
Qualifications:

Who We Are Looking For (Must Haves):

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in a customer-facing sales or consultation role.
  • Comfortable and proficient in using various technologies including CRM software, sales tools, communication tools, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and professionally.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing sales processes and best practices.
  • Ability to train and mentor eventual junior sales representatives.
  • Knowledge of construction or remodeling project management.
  • Familiarity with the following project management and sales tools: JobNimbus, Hover, Hatch, Paradigm.
  • Experience in building networks within the local community can help in gaining referrals and establishing partnerships.
