For Safety Management Services in the Construction area.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science and five (5+) years of exposure in EHS activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
  • OSHA 30 hours certification, General or Construction Industry. 
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Experience in:
    • Leadership and Technical advice as an EHS Subject Matter Expert.
    • Developing and delivering training and training tools.
    • Risk Assessment.
    • MS Office (Excel and Word).

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Establish a direct communication channel between the contractor, the project team, local EHS&S, and the client's internal management structure.
  • Lead safety resources on the construction project and coordinate with local EHS&S resources as needed.
  • Ensure that the contractor delivers a safe project in accordance with the client's expectations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all safety aspects for the project team; the Contractor retains full responsibility for implementing safety on the project.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs and procedures in line with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, implement corrective actions, and monitor ongoing compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive safety training and education to employees at all levels, covering topics such as hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, and incident reporting.
  • Promptly investigate accidents and incidents, conduct thorough root cause analyses, develop and implement effective corrective action plans, and implement preventative measures to minimize risks.
  • Manage and maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with project teams to integrate safety into all construction phases, from planning and design to execution and closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging safety hazards, and regulatory changes through continuous professional development.
