Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sectors.
- Certification in OSHA 30 hours, applicable to either General or Construction Industry.
- Work Schedule: Primarily administrative, adaptable to business requirements.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Proven experience in:
- Providing leadership and technical guidance as an EHS Subject Matter Expert.
- Creating and delivering training programs and educational materials.
- Conducting risk assessments.
- Utilizing MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication between contractors, project teams, local EHS&S, and internal management.
- Oversee safety personnel on construction projects and collaborate with local EHS&S resources as necessary.
- Ensure contractors adhere to safety protocols that meet client expectations.
- Act as the primary safety contact for project teams, ensuring contractors maintain full responsibility for safety implementation.
- Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive safety programs and procedures aligned with OSHA standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct detailed safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, enforce corrective measures, and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Deliver extensive safety training to employees at all levels, covering critical topics such as hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency protocols, and incident reporting.
- Investigate accidents and incidents thoroughly, performing root cause analyses, and implementing effective corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to incorporate safety into all phases of construction, from planning to execution and closure.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging safety challenges, and regulatory updates through continuous professional development.
