Position: Director Pre-Sales AI Ops

Location: Seattle, Dallas, Denver, New Jersey

Salary: $180k-$200k/annum

The Director Pre-Sales would be a senior thought leader in Autonomous Network Operations and Managed Services responsible for pricing, commercials and act as a deal anchor accountable for a specific deal end to end. The individual is accountable for building pipeline for AI Ops and achieving TCV closures. The individual is accountable for ensuring the solution built by competency team in collaboration with our global partners meets client demands and able to meet client demands in the most cost-effective manner.

What are you expected to do

  1. Strategic Planning and Leadership
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for AI Ops for Americas COMMs accounts
  • Identify AI Ops opportunities aligned with overall NS business goals and objectives
  • Drive collaboration internally to offer & deliver the "winning network offer".
  • Build credible, collaborative and effective internal working relationships with Network Sales, SMEs, solution, client partners

  1. Network Design and Architecture
  • Understanding of future networks concepts and how future network architectures are will impact operational activities
  • Collaborate with other leaders to integrate network services with overall Telco operations strategy

  1. Commercial Management
  • Build the commercial strategy including pricing and reviewing RLS
  • Identify automation levers with competency team to create innovative solutions
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient resource management and vendor negotiations

  1. Innovation and Improvement
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network services.
  • Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies and improve existing network services.
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics, analytics, and feedback.

  1. Communication
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication, ability to produce self-explanatory slides for internal executives
  • Create compelling and persuasive sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value of the company's products and services to prospective clients
  • Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and a unified approach to client engagements

  1. Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and provide updates on product developments and enhancements.

  1. Proposal and RFP Management:
  • Oversee the development and submission of high-quality proposals and responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  • Ensure all written communications are clear, concise, and effectively highlight the company's strengths and differentiators.
  • Lead the development of detailed proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value and benefits of AI Ops solutions. Ensure that these documents are compelling and address the specific pain points and objectives of the client
  • Present technical solutions and proposals to clients, effectively communicating complex concepts in an accessible manner to various audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you need to be successful in this role

  • 10+ years of Telco Industry Experience in a similar role (Solution Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Expert, Solution Consultant, Pre-Sales Manager)
  • Deep understanding of AI Ops and associated use cases
  • Experience in operations / managed services
  • Strong business & technical acumen
  • Strong technical and e2e solution architecture experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Telecommunications, networking industry
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Ability to confidently interact with C-level executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration & team building skills.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written); proficiency in languages
