Responsibilities of the Medical Receptionist:
  • Managing patient appointments, overseeing schedule adjustments, and handling cancellations.
  • Gathering and documenting patient information, including personal details and medical history.
  • Organizing and safeguarding patient records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Addressing incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Welcoming patients warmly, offering assistance and guiding them to relevant areas within the facility.
  • Verifying patients' insurance details and supervising insurance claims processing.
Requirements for the Medical Receptionist:
  • Proven experience as a medical secretary or in a related healthcare position.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, is preferred.

Salary Range: $19.00 - 22.00 per hour
