We are seeking a Fleet Service Advisor for a contract position, ideally starting before the end of July. The role offers a pay rate of $20-22 per hour and requires working Monday through Friday from either 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The dress code is business casual. The position involves two weeks of initial in-office training in Schaumburg, IL, followed by a transition to 100% remote work.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ year in customer service
  • Education: Highschool Diploma
  • Software: MS Office required (basic Excel) & Cisco Webex highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Manage authorization of vehicle repairs, attaining approvals and negotiating with vendors for proper procedures, pricing, and downtime.
  • Ensure repairs meet customer satisfaction, quality standards, and compliance with industry and company requirements.
  • Conduct follow-up on down vehicles and pending transactions, ensuring safety-related and scheduled repairs are completed.
  • Resolve transaction discrepancies with vendors and adhere to parts and labor reference guides.
  • Process "goodwill adjustments" for qualified dealership repairs.
