                   $24.04 per hourPosition Overview:
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the agency facilities, agency vehicles, and technology.
HOURS: 40 hours weekly minimum or as necessary to achieve program objectives, tasks, activities, and responsibilities and to effectively document outcome measures and variations.  Have the flexibility to work both business (8:00 am - 5:30 pm) and untraditional hours to meet the program’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support and supervision of the Maintenance Specialist to ensure continuity of maintenance, timely repairs and upkeep of the agency’s facilities, vehicles, and grounds.
  • Assist with scheduling and maintaining current inspections of the facilities (i.e., fire suppression system, smoke alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, etc.).
  • Assist with agency operations inventory, including updating as needed and making annual budget recommendations based on inventory needs.
  • Assist with the agency’s capital maintenance spending and oversite.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and volunteers who assist with the maintenance and operations.
  • Serve as the Volunteer Supervisor, providing training and engagement of volunteers for maintenance.
  • Submit purchase requests for approval for maintenance needs based on the agency budget.
  • Oversight of recycling program for technology to include scheduling.
  • Consult the supervisor regarding any critical situations within the department.
  • Maintain knowledge of overall agency objectives and activities.
  • Serve in the appropriate step in the dispute resolution process for staff, volunteers, and clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in managing employees
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in coordination of projects, operations, etc.
Education and Other Requirements:
  • Minimum of a 4-year degree in Business, Management, or comparable experience
  • Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle report, and reference checks.
  • Must have a clean driving record/ have automobile insurance coverage and, be insurable/ have at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Ability to lift/carry/move a minimum of 40 lbs. for an extended distance.

  • Management of staff and volunteers, including scheduling, on-the-job training, professional growth, and employee documentation.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills to assist staff with in-the-moment issues.
  • Sensitivity regarding the issues of family violence and sexual assault and the ability to remain calm in crisis situations,
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, teamwork environment.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment.
