Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of technicians in maintaining the waterpark facilities, equipment, and systems, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aquatic equipment, ensuring maximum operating time and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and maintain appropriate staffing levels for the department, including resolving conflicts, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor life safety systems, ensure compliance with all corporate and brand standards, and maintain certification training in Aquatic Facility Operator and/or Certified Pool Operator programs.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing waste and ensuring that equipment is prepared and operational for the next shift.
  • Shift Operations: Manage shift operations, including staff scheduling, training, and coaching, to ensure operational excellence and meet budgetary limits.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent education/experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or waterpark maintenance, with 1+ year of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of chemicals, tools, equipment, and supplies used in providing comprehensive building/water park maintenance services.
  • Certifications: Successful completions of criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Availability: Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
