POSITION TITLE: GSS Recruiter Specialist - Seasonal
Location: The Goodwill Center - 300 E Lea Blvd, Wilmington De, 19802Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pmRate of Pay: $25 an hourPOSITION PURPOSEThe GSS Recruitment Specialist Seasonal is a temporary position for approximately 4 to 5 months. The Candidate would be responsible for the daily administrative tasks of the Goodwill Staffing Services Department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all required administrative support activities are completed but not limited to recruiting, retaining and on-boarding of the GSS temporary staff. The GSS Recruitment Specialist is also responsible for the time sensitive payroll and billing tasks, in addition, to supporting their assigned GSS Recruitment Manager. This individual is a member of the Quality Team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
  1. Coordinate and process pre-placement requirements including pre-screening interviews, background checks, skill testing and assessments, education verification and drug testing as needed.
  2. Input weekly time data for payroll processing.
  3. Coordinates all new hire paperwork including I-9 eligibility verification.
  4. Ensure all timekeeping, payroll and billing is timely and accurate. Collect and input accurate data for invoicing purposes.
  5. Submit all billing in compliance with established State, Federal, A.N.D., Goodwill, and other contractual guidelines.
  6. Communicate with clients/employees any payroll-related developments and/or issues.
  7. Assist in the development/maintenance of new and existing accounts.
  8. Work cooperatively with community groups, co-workers, and vendors to promote the achievement of the company mission.
  9. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality to ensure compliance with Goodwill policy and established CARF standards. In addition to ensuring compliance with all State, Federal and local laws.
  10. Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure safe working conditions for the division and departments assigned.
  11. Work cooperatively with all customers to provide quality service and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  12. Responsible to attend meetings, training sessions and committee\ team activities as required.
  13. Ability to work hours/days based on the needs of the business.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with recruited employees and recruiting resources.
  15. Conduct phone interviews and schedule in person interviews.
  16. Provide follow-up correspondence to candidate on recruiting status.
  17. Process on-boarding paperwork and maintain compliance with all hiring requirements.
  18. All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent required and/or bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience necessary. Human Resources background preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to be a self starter with excellent oral and written communication skills along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications knowledge is required.
