Role Summary:
- As a Technical Support Specialist, you will operate within a structured environment.
- Your responsibilities will encompass repair tasks such as unit replacement, software installation, and equipment testing following a detailed protocol.
- Additional non-troubleshooting tasks may also be assigned.
- Guidance will be provided through scripts, help desk resources, or service desk instructions in a Next Business Day (NBD) and/or Same Business Day (SBD) service delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide PLS Support for inquiries including Dell Client Transformation Services, installation, and maintenance of PCs and related peripherals.
- Respond to service requests and execute incident-specific tasks as directed by the Help Desk, Service Desk, or established scripts.
- Participate in routine installations, relocations, additions, and modifications as part of a guided team, which may include:
- Complex repairs for desktops and laptops
- Whole unit replacements
- Basic desktop printer repairs
- Software installation via scripted procedures
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in DELL Desktop PC systems
- Installation and Support expertise
- A+ Certification required
