Job overview:

Wire 3 is hiring a Regional Sales manager to help with the initial launch and subsequent leadership and development of a direct sales team in a new market. The right person will serve as the “tip of the spear” as we begin to build a brand presence in a new market already identified for construction and development. They will be the face of the Wire 3 movement and begin building presence and positive relationships in the community, while recruiting for their direct sales team so that when construction is nearing completion we have a team assembled to grow subscriber count. Once the region goes live for installation they will lead the direct sales team and manage to the organizational success metrics to help the Wire 3 movement grow as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish connections in the community to build a positive brand presence for Wire 3 in a new market where there is little to no brand awareness.
  • Make introduction where appropriate to community development team, SMB team, and events team so that Wire 3 can capitalize on new business and advertising opportunities.
  • Attend community/chamber events to help grow awareness of the Wire 3 movement
  • Recruit and establish relationships with prospective direct sales reps until such a time as building the team is appropriate
  • Manage a team of direct sales reps to grow subscriber base in the assigned region.
  • Establish and develop team leaders to run DSRs once scale requires it.
  • Manage to the success metrics outlined by the company.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum essential education level: HS graduate, some college preferred
  • Desired but not essential education level:
  • Skills needed for the position: examples: solid interpersonal communication, responsibility, self-management, perseverance, ability to work under pressure, focus on objectives, good organizational skills

Experience:

  • 2+ years managing a sales team, 3+ years in business development
