What you will do

Responsible for accurate and timely updates to the electronic and paper product lines to ensure regulatory and specification compliance. Analyzes information procured from federal and state governmental agencies to determine, document, and implement necessary changes to forms to maintain product compliance. Conveys compliance information and coordinates the resolution of product and technical issues with all cross functional departments.

You will succeed by:

  • Research government websites for applicable information.
  • Communicate with agency contacts to validate compliance information.
  • Obtain forms, instructions, and technical specifications from governmental agencies for form development
  • Check/compare and proofread internally developed forms
  • Manage the external forms approval process.
  • Maintain database of agency contact information, external approval information, and procurement of forms.
  • Communicate form design industry standards to government agencies and collaborate on form designs and re-designs.
  • Ensure consistent communication with outsource partners regarding Compliance issues.
  • Review requirements from outsource partners for accuracy and consistency; identify and resolve any issues.
  • Develop and maintain data-mapping documentation for use by production teams.
  • Coordinate form development and compliance for our Desktop and or web-based filing products.
  • Review government information for changes to forms, specifications, and instructions; make product recommendations and collaborate with internal developers, technical writers, and testers on product design changes; provide detailed mock-ups of changes needed to the production teams.
  • Provide form and field information for technical specifications.
  • Conduct research to determine revision requirements.
  • Responsible for printed output from software products; create and maintain form files, database of field information, and supplemental files.
  • Test product output to validate data placement, formatting, calculations, and compliance with government specifications.
  • Create test files for internal and external customers to gain approval with government agencies for electronic filing. Research customer issues and coordinate resolution with the appropriate Product Development team.
  • Communicate compliance updates to internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of products and relevant usage for end users.
  • Ensure that compatibility issues or concerns are addressed in a prompt, accurate manner.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with Product, Brand and Sales Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of paralegal experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with payroll or tax accounting, specifically wage reporting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Experience with Helix and XML is beneficial.

Position Travel Requirements:

An employee from Grand Rapids or Bridgewater will be required to travel to Green Bay approximately six times per year.
