Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on government websites to gather relevant information and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with government agency contacts to validate compliance information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Obtain forms, instructions, and technical specifications from government agencies to develop and maintain product compliance.
- Verify and proofread internally developed forms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage the external forms approval process to ensure timely and efficient compliance.
- Maintain a database of agency contact information, external approval information, and procurement of forms.
- Collaborate with government agencies to convey compliance information and coordinate the resolution of product and technical issues.
- Ensure consistent communication with outsource partners regarding compliance issues.
- Review requirements from outsource partners for accuracy and consistency, and identify and resolve any issues.
- Develop and maintain data-mapping documentation for use by production teams.
- Coordinate form development and compliance for our Desktop and WRC/WageFiler products.
- Develop forms using internal development tools, including form image design, field types, character sets, and form requirements.
- Review government information for changes to forms, specifications, and instructions, and make product recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal developers, technical writers, and testers on product design changes, and provide detailed mock-ups of changes needed to the production teams.
- Provide form and field information for technical specifications.
- Conduct research to determine revision requirements.
- Responsible for printed output from software products, including creating and maintaining form files, database of field information, and supplemental files.
- Test product output to validate data placement, formatting, calculations, and compliance with government specifications.
- Create test files for internal and external customers to gain approval with government agencies for electronic filing.
- Research customer issues and coordinate resolution with the appropriate Product Development team.
- Communicate compliance updates to internal and external partners.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of products and relevant usage for end users.
- Ensure that compatibility issues or concerns are addressed in a prompt, accurate manner.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with Product, Brand, and Sales Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Experience with payroll or tax accounting, specifically wage reporting, preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in using Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as conducting internet research.
- Experience with Helix and XML is beneficial.
