Schneider National, Inc. is looking for an Insurance Claims Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the effective processing of insurance claims. Your main duties will involve handling initial loss notifications (FNOL) from various sources, including drivers, law enforcement, and other departments. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing necessary federal documentation, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations following incidents, and managing all correspondence related to claims. This position supports various functions within the insurance claims department, including Accident Claims, Cargo Claims, Workers Compensation, Subrogation, and Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate automated reports from drivers and seek resolutions from customers.
  • Document claims initiated by customers and maintain supporting evidence in line with Schneider's protocols.
  • Address urgent in-transit situations that may necessitate the engagement of on-site service providers.
  • Uphold consistent attendance while demonstrating behaviors that reflect our core values.
  • Enjoy additional compensation of $1.25 per hour for second and third shifts, and $2.00 per hour for weekend work.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED, or equivalent professional experience, with one to two years in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in working with computers and related systems.
  • Familiarity with the trucking and transportation industry and its terminology is advantageous.
  • A strong willingness to work on-site as part of a collaborative team.
