Job Description and Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the marketing manager studies the distributor’s customer base and Automation systems market for biology research laboratory, pharma and others in the area to develop effective programs for soliciting business. Develops and executes marketing plans and programs to ensure the profit growth and expansion of distributors and their products. Improve the brand influence of VELSSON in the North American.

The following job duties apply:
  1. Establish positioning, identify target customer, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  2. Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  3. Identifying potential new markets and creating a plan to enter the market.
  4. Advise the director on the most effective forms of advertising and ensure the appropriate method is used target market.
  5. Develop a budget and ROI analysis for all marketing campaigns (such as exposition) and gain approval from the director prior to implementation, spending, and launch.
  6. Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  7. Continually learn about manufacturer trends, products, and services and their benefits to the customer and distributor, demonstrate and share the knowledge as required.
  8. Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, media placement, and merchandising policy.
  9. Ensure sales members integrate marketing promotions and programs into the customer conversation where appropriate to demonstrate added value to the customer, completing any necessary administration, as appropriate.
  10. Creating engaging and informative content for the website, blog, social media, and any other content marketing channels that the business might leverage
  11. Maintain relationships with advertisers (e.g., newspapers, direct mail, private sales, digital media, social media, websites, etc.) including negotiating pricing and establishing marketing campaigns.
  12. Manage the online presence and e-commerce for our Distributors. Ensures that the distributor’s websites are updated in a timely manner at the beginning of each month to reflect the manufacturers’ monthly marketing campaigns.
  13. Build an annual marketing budget and plan with timelines, Present the plan to the Director for approval and incorporate the budget into the annual financial forecasts.\
  14. Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required skills and qualifications:
  1. Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Familiar with bio-pharmaceutical industry developing process and equipment preferred.
  4. Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  5. Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  6. Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  7. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
  8. Over five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  9. Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  10. Proven success in designing interactive applications and networking platforms
  11. Willingness to travel
  12. Established contacts in media
