Job Summary

Join our dynamic team and you will be responsible for providing quality service and support to the Bank's wealth management division. Analyzing, interpreting and processing a wide variety of transactions and being aware of their impact to financial statements and other customer reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Assist Trust Officers with general administrative functions, including meeting with customers, review of trust agreements, correspondence, and client requests;
· Engage with clients in-person and over the telephone to provide customer service and support to existing client base;
· Process accurate and timely deposits and disbursements;
· Perform account maintenance and updates as needed;
· Assist with the opening and closing of accounts;
· Monitor daily activity reports and cash balances;
· Preparation of trust reporting, accounting, and documentation for client presentations, letters and other communications;
· Maintain safekeeping of trust assets to ensure proper procedures, recordkeeping and control of assets held at the Bank;
· Create and maintain client files – both hardcopy and electronic;
· Serve as point of contact for prospective clients through telephone calls, MCB Trust website, bank website, etc.
· Follow established policy and compliance procedures;
· Interact and engage with third-party providers on life insurance, farm management and other trust related business;
· Participate in team meetings by sharing thoughts and ideas on best practices and better efficiencies ;
· Assist in estate settlement functions;
· Support and back-up Trust Operations Manager as appropriate;
· Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Requirements:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

· The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
· Employees, who work 7 ½ continuous hours or more, must take a 30 minute uninterrupted lunch break no later than 5 hours after beginning their work day

Education and Qualifications

Essential:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· BSA and other Bank related training through BAI is required annually


Desirable:
· College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

Experience

Essential:
· Knowledge of customer service principles
· Relevant computer skills
· Teamwork
· Organizational Support


Desirable:
· 2-5 years of Banking and/or Trust experience
· Prior Trust experience
