Analyzing, interpreting and processing a wide variety of transactions and being aware of their impact to financial statements and other customer reporting.Essential Duties & Responsibilities•Assist Trust Officers with general administrative functions, including meeting with customers, review of trust agreements, correspondence, and client requests;•Engage with clients in-person and over the telephone to provide customer service and support to existing client base;•Process accurate and timely deposits and disbursements;•Perform account maintenance and updates as needed;•Assist with the opening and closing of accounts;•Monitor daily activity reports and cash balances;•Preparation of trust reporting, accounting, and documentation for client presentations, letters and other communications;•Maintain safekeeping of trust assets to ensure proper procedures, recordkeeping and control of assets held at the Bank;•Create and maintain client files - both hardcopy and electronic;•Serve as point of contact for prospective clients through telephone calls, MCB Trust website, bank website, etc.•Follow established policy and compliance procedures;•Interact and engage with third-party providers on life insurance, farm management and other trust related business;•Participate in team meetings by sharing thoughts and ideas on best practices and better efficiencies ;•Assist in estate settlement functions;•Support and back-up Trust Operations Manager as appropriate;•Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Requirements: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
