TITLE: Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Business Operations
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist will be responsible for a broad range of activities such as accounts payable and receivable, sales tax review, payroll entry, and benefits coordinator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Record Accounts Payable and Receivables into the ERP system.
- Send monthly Customer Statements and follow up on delinquent accounts
- Conduct a daily Sales Tax audit
- Daily review of Invoices for errors
- Coordinate employee benefits changes and updates for all employees
- Review returned items and process credit were applicable, coordinate additional internal or external testing
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1 year of accounting related experience preferred. Agriculture background not required but basic knowledge is preferred.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
MATHEMATIC ABILITY:
Ability to calculate basic mathematics such as adding, subtracting and multiplication
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet Software, and be highly comfortable working on a computer on a daily basis.
