Previous medical office setting experience preferred.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Three (3) years previous medical office setting experience preferred. Medical terminology, computer experience, customer service experience desired.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Complete New Patient registration process for Peoria & Clinic Patients which includes the completion and signatures of all paperwork, copies of insurance cards and an ID as well as updating the information to the EMR & billing software.
  2. Reviews schedules & Real Time eligibility software for changes of insurance.
  3. Identify indigent/potential reimbursement problems and directs information.
  4. Follow-up with clinic staff and patients to ensure completeness of data obtained.
  5. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and maintain a professional attitude.
  6. Maintains information in a confidential manner and abides by HIPPA regulations
