Position Overview
Sign-on Bonus Eligible: $5,000
Expected compensation for this role is $33.46/hour. Actual salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY:
A Clinical Dietitian is a specialist in human nutrition and medical nutrition therapy.

The Clinical Dietitian evaluates the nutritional status of patients, tailoring assessments to their unique needs and objectives, and formulates and executes relevant nutrition care plans.

This role involves assessing current nutritional conditions, devising interventions, monitoring for changes, and documenting ongoing nutritional advancements.

The Clinical Dietitian plays a vital role within the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with patients and their support systems to ensure that patient-centered care is effectively delivered.


Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food Science, or Nutrition.
Credentialed Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligible for registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Illinois and Michigan), or must achieve registration within 6 months of employment.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Experience:
Prior experience working with patients in either group or individual settings.
Fundamental understanding of medical terminology and medical billing.
Licensure/Certifications:
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist eligible (Illinois).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensure/Certifications:

Certification as a diabetes educator.

Other skills/knowledge: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in group or individual settings.
