We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join Ashland Hills Hotel. As a key leader in our front office operations, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating activities of the front desk staff to ensure prompt, courteous service and distinctively supreme experiences for all our guests.


Position Information: Full-Time, 17.50-18.50 hourly rate.


Essential Functions:

  • Manage all aspects of guest registration and check-out processes
  • Implement and enforce policies for communication between front desk staff, guests, and hotel departments
  • Maintain and enforce high levels of customer service, with zero tolerance for poor service
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Oversee the reservation process for both social and group guests
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, room types, rates, and packages
  • Assist in organizing front desk operations and implementing systems to keep staff on task
  • Participate in employee documentation, including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and terminations
  • Train front desk staff on selling techniques, customer service skills, and hotel promotions
  • Drive transient sales growth
  • Assist in budget control and effective staff scheduling
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Two years of hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Required government licenses or certificates
  • Strong knowledge of front office operations
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
