Plexos Group, LLC is hiring a Disaster Recovery Outreach Analysts to support disaster recovery functions at the local and county level to add capacity to programs addressing unmet needs. These positions are grant-funded and will focus on support to communities affected by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon wildfires. This position will last for a duration of one year from the data of hire.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and manage relationships with local acequias, farmers, and ranchers
· Build relationships and trust with local partners
· Provide data entry, management, and analysis across multiple platforms
· Provide real-time updates to the New Mexico Acequia Association, acequia stakeholders, and partners providing assistance through a consolidated list
· Ensure consistent communication with media, government partners, acequias, and the public
· Collaborate with Disaster Case Management and local partners to meet the needs of individuals and households that rely on acequias
· Identify and manage relevant funding opportunities and programs for individual acequias and the Association
· Develop and set up systems and processes
· Provide Data-tracking and analytics
· Report writing
· Convene with stakeholders and provide programmatic report-outs
· Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Teams, and SharePoint
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid New Mexico driver license
· Able to pass a federal background check
· Experience working with a community or nonprofit organization program.
· Familiarity with Northern New Mexico’s cultural values and history is required
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
· Proven experience in outreach, community engagement, or a similar role.
