Community Engagement Specialist

At Santa Fe Recovery Center, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on advancing our outreach and education efforts, with a primary emphasis on individuals at high risk for HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance use disorders (SUD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage with clients and community members.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure cohesive messaging and effective use of media.
- Organize community events and provide education on substance use, HIV prevention, and stigma reduction.
- Engage with external partners and clinics to promote prevention initiatives and ongoing client support.
Requirements:
- 1-year experience working on outreach teams, public relations, and public health-related awareness campaigns.
- Ability to travel regularly and attend community events.
- Commitment to driving the mission of the Santa Fe Recovery Center and MAI Grant Program.
- Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with experience in outreach and marketing.
- Valid NM driver's license and clean driving record (required).
