Are you a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and a track record of bringing groundbreaking products to life? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where you can help shape the future of technology and drive transformational change? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you

As our Senior Director of Product Development, you will partner with our Marketing Team and Executive Leadership team while leading our talented IT and Implementation teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that delight our clients and redefine our Future. You’ll play a critical role in defining our product strategy through creation and enhancement of innovative products that align with the company’s strategic goals, overseeing the development lifecycle from concept to launch, and ensuring our products meet market needs and exceed client expectations.

If you’re ready to make a significant impact and be part of a forward-thinking organization that values creativity, collaboration, solutions, and excellence, we want to hear from you

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives from ideation through launch.
  • Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Provide tools and structure to ensure that initiatives are developed based on applicable deliverables that itemize customer requirements.
  • Present product development initiatives and launches to key stakeholders, ensuring successful communication and alignment of the vision. This includes delivering critical information that meets both internal objectives and market demands.
  • Provide functional expertise and project leadership for the team toward setting technical excellence and meeting business goals.
  • Support overall program management efforts including tracking project status, managing and escalating risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, sales, and client relations to align product development with client needs and business objectives.
  • Oversee market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Manage the product development budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Communicate, inspire, and model the buy-in and acceptance of both short and long-term company goals and objectives.
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Participate in expansion activities, research, and evaluations.
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and related software.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal management, problem-solving and public speaking skills.
  • Proven record of aptitude in producing fact-based or historically valid and justifiable decisions while adhering to financial constraints or directives.
  • We are a manufacturing facility, with an unmatched reputation. This reputation has grown, in part, over many years by everyone “pulling together” when needed. Therefore, while the primary focus is for the aforementioned position, being physically able to push/pull/lift/carry supplies and various works in progress of at least 35-50 pounds, for example, is important.
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching products.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the product development process and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Valid (non-suspended or limited) Driver’s License and dependable transportation.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-Time, Salaried position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with travel as needed.
