We are seeking a Construction Sales Manager with expertise in the construction industry who will be responsible for formulating overall strategies, managing and developing people, and ultimately helping Hercules to grow and thrive.

Key Construction Sales Manager responsibilities include five core management areas.

Business Development:

·        Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development by continuing current knowledge of the industry

·        Attend related construction trade association events

·        Build and manage strong relationships with customer base and contractors

·        Effectively network and build lasting relationships

·        Analyze, understand and build appropriate business strategies

·        Demonstrate a high degree of foresight and mature judgement in planning, organizing and guiding Company activities

·        Display competency in planning, contract procurement, strategic decision making and implementation of solid sales and growth objectives

·        Maintain Hercules’ respected and positive reputation within the fencing industry

Sales Management:

·        Provide proven ability to develop and implement new strategies in a competitive industry that net results

·        Display mature leadership qualities as a high-performance individual capable of building, developing and maintaining an equally high-performance team

·        Readily make swift, quality decisions utilizing experience, confidence and business acumen

·        Lead a team with persuasive methods and styles that rally the sales team

·        Utilize organizational and planning systems to project 1-3-6-12 month goals using detailed spreadsheets and tracking technology

Project Manager Oversight:

·        Provide direction and oversight to all fencing Project Managers

·        Coordinate and collaborate with the Production Manager, Vice President and President

·        Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed correctly and in a timely manner

·        Develop talent individually and as a team through strong coaching, mentoring and leadership skills

·        Continue to strengthen and define the Project Manager role

Office Management:

·        Oversee administrative staff in coordination with the Vice President

·        Assist with day-to-day management of staff through understanding respective roles and responsibilities

General Management:

·        Promote and drive a positive and productive culture

·        Align Company mission to daily objectives

·        Monitor and manage employee performance and development through consistent communication

·        Manage sales, project managers and administrative staff through proactive direction

·        Consistently seek right solutions rather than “right now” solutions to promote forward thinking that results in sustaining practices

·        Recognize team potential and foster that drive for optimal performance and output

·        Promote accountability and role leadership for every single position within the organization

·        Hire, retain, incentivize and train teams through practical planning and effective management strategies

Key Skills:

·        Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the Construction Industry or similar leadership role

·        Experience working with construction project timelines and budgets

·        Knowledge of construction business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)

·        Strong analytical ability

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

·        Problem-solving aptitude

Job Requirements:

Minimal General Education

·        High School Diploma

·        College Degree Desirable

Professional Experience

·        Experience within the fencing and/or perimeter security industry or construction preferred

·        Proven track record in bidding and securing contracts in the construction sector

·        Minimum of seven years Construction Sales Management experience

Other Requirements

·        Must be located within the United States

·        Be able to commute daily to the office and job sites as required

·        Pass necessary background verification checks to gain access to Government worksites

·        Valid driver’s license
