Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE)
Hourly Salary: $30 - $35 hr. DOE/E

Part-time/Contract; Average of 15 hours a week
Hybrid: 100% remote work environment with occasional in-person meetings or CSAE events

The Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE) is seeking a motivated marketing and communications professional to support the Executive Director (ED) with essential tasks.  The ideal candidate will bring superior organizational skills, a creative mindset, and highly capable written and verbal skills.  Applicable knowledge of MemberClicks AMS is required for the success of this role. CSAE’s ED provides a flexible work schedule within the parameters of a deadline environment.

CSAE is an association of 400+ association professionals and professionals in the association industry and is a fast-paced organization dedicated to providing valuable benefits to members and stakeholders. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Support leadership to align strategy and efforts.

·         Monitor and update membership database, MemberClicks.

·         Create content for marketing campaigns for membership and events.

·         Manage and update CSAE website weekly if not more often as needed.

·         Assist and execute social media content to foster positive membership growth, engagement and public brand awareness.

·         Support event planning and coordination.

·         Support the ED’s strategic initiatives by assisting with database reports to analyze KPIs, predict revenue and optimize goals.

  • Contribute content to digital newsletters based on trending topics and research to highlight members.
  • Periodically assist CSAE at CSAE-produced networking and social events.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·         Self-motivated, results-oriented, and expertly organized work style.

·         Ability to take direction easily and collaborate for efficiency.

·         Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.

·         Applicable social media marketing skills.

 

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

·         Applicable knowledge of the membership management software, MemberClicks

·         Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office suite of products.

·         Contractor supply’s their own equipment (computer, internet, phone).

·         Bachelor’s degree in applicable field: Marketing, Communications, or PR (preferred)

·         At least 2 years applicable experience (PR, marketing, communications, database administration).
