Job Summary:

The Data Integrity Specialist position will be responsible for ensuring data imported and exported from our systems satisfy all quality expectations and standards with our business partners. In addition, the Data Integrity Specialist will collect data from multiple data sources and then analyze data according to business needs. The Data Integrity Specialist position will be responsible for collaborating with various internal teams to analyze, observe, test, diagnose, and report errors in the benefit administration platform configuration.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform.   • Collect, verify, organize, and record information and data in report forms.
  • Perform the following data related activities: tracking, reviewing, validation, updating, reconciliation, and report generations.
  • Effectively document and escalate issues to management team immediately.
  • Identify and interpret trends in data variances in order to maintain the highest degree of data integrity.
  • Creative problem solving through independent research where limited standardization may exist.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures while ensuring all employees are knowledgeable data quality expectations.
  • Work productively and collaboratively with multiple business partners.
  • Assist with other various work-related projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues in format, data, and reports related to the conversion of the data and communicate with internal partners and discuss key findings during the conversion process.
  • Review data differences between source data and target data set up for benefits platform.
  • Mine through data to match content of reports to ensure there are no variances before files are sent to business partners.
  • Run reports from internal systems for reconciliation against client and carrier systems.
  • Create, Audit and Recon Payroll reports to client and broker.

Work Experience Required for this Job:

· 2 – 4 years of experience working in the insurance industry

· 2 – 4 years of experience in a role with data integrity exposure


Education Required for this Job:

· Bachelor’s degree desired but not required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the employee’s work location. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • Core business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST during working hours, but the employees’ schedules are at the discretion of the supervisor and dependent on the needs of the business.

Travel:

  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Mental Requirements:

  • The ability to solve problems, make decisions, supervise others, interpret data, organize information, written and oral communication and read/write.
