In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop a sales portfolio by maintaining relationships with current customers while soliciting for new clients. Just bring your enthusiasm, energy, initiative and drive As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills coordinating with other department personnel to provide exceptional service and support to our valued clientele. You will be trained to utilize a sophisticated software system that will enhance your success in reaching personal and professional goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Become a knowledgeable expert of our products and services and become proficient with company’s internal computer system.
  • Develop and cultivate a sales strategy that: (1) through cultivating new customers and selling new products to existing customer (2) solidifying loyal customer and supplier relationships
  • Successfully attain personal and company established sales goals.
  • Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, identifying service and products opportunities while providing solutions per customer’s business needs.
  • Work with department leaders and coworkers to generate sales marketing strategies and cost-effective customer service.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper ordering, invoicing and collections are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain orderly and up-to date records (hard & soft copy) for all leads and customers.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies and maintain utmost confidentiality.
  • Perform your duties efficiently, with attention to cost reduction and proper time management.
  • Participate with management and participate in scheduled meetings, work sessions and training.
  • Perform other assignments as directed by other managers or higher authority.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven success in outside sales with 2-5 years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in the paper/packaging industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Outgoing, winning personality
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Longevity at previous jobs and a desire for a long-term career
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & ability to learn new software

Compensation Includes:

  • Base salary plus commission. Packages for experienced, proven sales reps. starting at $75,000 and above. Packages for entry level sales reps. starting at $50,000 and above.
