Patient Care Coordinator

We are looking for a confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team. As our Patient Care Coordinator you will be the first point of contact when patients arrive.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Patient-centric environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer / Internet / Social media proficiency
- The ability to build rapport with individuals of diverse backgrounds & ages
- Comfortable having financial discussions with patients
- Comfortable asking for and collecting money
- Familiarity with dental procedures and discussing benefits of different treatment options
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
- Self motivated

Desired but not Required skills & experience...
- Medical & Dental insurance billing / coding experience
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

- Marketing minded
- Chair-side dental assisting experience
- Surgical assisting experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients when they visit
- Scheduling Appointments
- Generating Treatment Plans and Presenting Treatment Options. Identifying and helping patients find solutions to treatment plan acceptance barriers.
- Discussing and implementing financial arrangements such as pre-payment plans and various financing options
- Serve as "Case Manager" for patients who require extensive treatment
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 7:45am-6:00PM
- 30-60 min lunch
- Paid break in AM & PM
- Option to work some Friday's with our Pediatric Dentist

- Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
