About US:
Pilkington North America, one of the world’s largest glassmakers, manufactures and distributes automotive and flat glass for the automotive and building industries. We have been part of the Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) group since 2006.
The Team Lead position reports directly to the location Manager and accountabilities include:
- Coordinating delivery routes
- Using a computer to locate glass parts in the warehouse to ensure inventory precision
- Promoting teamwork among the employees
- Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures,
- Providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications Required:
o High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - NOT required
o Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, and an ability to read maps
o Excellent customer relations and communication skills (verbal and written);
o 2 years recent experience in a leadership role
o Excellent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills;
o Basic Personal Computer skills
o Ability to understand, utilize and train others on computer-based inventory control systems
o Proficiency in the English language (verbal and written)
o Ability to exercise independent judgment to direct activities within the facility
o Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 pounds
o Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools
o Excellent attendance record
o Ability to work in temperatures similar to outdoors within the area of the assigned service center.
