Chassis Systems Requirement Engineer

 

In the role of Chassis Systems Requirements engineer, you will work in an Agile environment to develop system-level requirements and validation methods at the system and vehicle level.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and author requirements for chassis control systems and features, primarily brakes

·         Perform Systems engineering on Chassis controls features/functions including Failure Mode Avoidance

·         Conduct Functional Safety analysis and implement actions

·         Use MATLAB, Simulink and/or MagicDraw Models to evaluate system level requirements.

 

Skills Required:

·         System-level experience writing or working with requirements

·         Experience developing and executing FMEAs

 

Skills Preferred:

·         Experience with braking systems

·         Experience applying engineering disciplines for failure mode avoidance

·         Familiarity with EARS and INCOSE standards for requirements

·         Familiarity with Agile/SAFe tools and processes • Good communication and collaboration skills Ability to work within a team environment

·         Familiarity with ISO-26262

·         Experience in Matlab/Simulink building and evaluating system models

·         Experience in MagicDraw applying Systems Engineering

 

Experience Required:

·         2+ years of professional, non-academic experience in control systems or requirement development

 

Experience Preferred:

·         5+ years of controls system and state machine development experience

 

Education Required:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field
